Respite Services (Under 21)
Personal Care services are provided in the consumer’s home or family home. We assist in the completion of all ADLs such as eating, toileting, bathing, dressing, etc. The service also includes activities such as assistance with meal preparation, bed making and light housekeeping when these activities are essential to the health and Welfare of the consumer and when no one else is available to perform them.
Personal Support Services
Life as a family caregiver can be very challenging and this is where we come in to provide you with the support you need to take a brief respite to maintain your physical and mental health. Our Respite Services are provided in the consumer’s own home, family home or foster home. It is mainly used to provide care and supervision when the primary caregiver needs to take time away from the immense responsibility of providing care for their loved one.​
Life Skills Developmental I (Companion)
Companion services consist of non-medical care, supervision, and socialization activities provided to recipients age 21 years or older. This service must be provided in direct relation to the achievement of the recipient’s goals as specified in the recipient’s support plan. The service provides access to community-based activities that cannot be provided by natural or other unpaid supports, and should be defined as activities most likely to result in increased ability to access community resources without paid support. These services can be scheduled on a regular, long-term basis.
Activities can be volunteer activities performed by the recipient as a pre-work activity or activities that connect a recipient to the community.
